On the third week, I had been asked to change to floor 38 where they need people.So my friend and I went there and our new supervisor,Pn Salbiah Yunos welcomed us.She arranged a short meeting with us.She introduced herself and explain briefly about the department and the divisions as well.She also explained about the current and upcoming projects that they are doing.She also added that we will be given the task to handle the assesment system.This is project conducting by the TNB for goverment purpose.We have to join their system support team and have to assist the users to use the system and solve any of their problems as well.
Firstly I was a bit tensed because I have to handle with phone calls and emails.Email was not a problem for me because we just have to reply back with a good solution and explaination.Phone call was liltle bit not comfortable for me because I must be able to know everything about the system and must be able to answer all their enquiries.
For the first few days,I was sitting beside my friend who is dealing with the system since she join as intern from 5th April.So she was quite good in handling those things.I sat beside her and was watching the way she answered,the way solve the users problems and the way she reply the emails.Apart from that,I also go through the system a bit deeply and know about the functions and many more.
I was quite satisfy with the work because day by day I able to understand about the task.As the starter I also be given a chance to handle the user by phone calls.My friend explained to me what to talk and how to explain and I followed her.As the result the users were reactink positively to me.There were no any complains or problem by the way I approach them.They seems to understand my explaination clearly.
